How do I manage automated service reminders in MioSalon?

Service Reminder

The Service Reminder feature in MioSalon aims to increase customer visits, promote brand recall, and help businesses stand out in a competitive market.

It enables businesses to automate and personalize reminders for their clients after each service, using either fixed or custom intervals based on the specific service.


1 How to add a service reminder feature in miosalon?


1.1 How to add a fixed interval service reminder?

To add a service reminder with a fixed interval in MioSalon:


  • Log in to your MioSalon account.

  • Go to Settings, in the Modules Settings section, click on "Service Reminder".

  • In the Service Reminder list, click the "Add Service Reminder" button.

  • Enter the name of the reminder in the “Reminder  Rule”.

  • Select the respective “Service(s)” to send the reminder.

  • Choose the “Fixed interval” option in the Reminder Interval. 

  • Enter the required details such as reminder count, First Reminder, subsequent reminder, and reminder delivery time. 

    • Reminder Count: Specifies the number of reminders to be sent to customers.

    • First Reminder: Sent from the date of the last service taken.

    • Subsequent Reminder: Set the interval at which subsequent reminders will be sent, such as days, after the first reminder.

  • Choose the desired “Stop Rule” optional:

    • Stop reminders when the customer visits next time.

    • Stop reminders when the customer visits the location next time for the same service.

  • Enable the Notification Channel to send messages via WhatsApp.

  • Click on the “Assign Template“button and pick a template from the repository.

  • Click the "Save" button.

  • Now you can view the created service reminder in the “Service Reminder List”.


1.2 How to add a custom interval service reminder?


To add a service reminder with a custom interval in MioSalon, follow these steps:


  • Log in to your MioSalon account.

  • Go to Settings, in the Modules Settings section, click on "Service Reminder".

  • In the Service Reminder list, click the "Add Service Reminder" button.

  • Enter the name of the reminder in the “Reminder  Rule”.

  • Select the respective “Service(s)” to send the reminder.

  • Choose the “Custom Interval” option.

  • Click “add Reminder” button 

  • Enter reminders based on your “Preferred intervals.

  • Choose the desired “Stop Rule” option:

    • Stop reminders when the customer visits next time.

    • Stop reminders when the customer visits the outlet next time for the same service.

  • Enable the “Notification Channel” to send messages via WhatsApp.

  • Click on “Assign Template“button and pick a template from the repository.

  • Click the "Save" button.

  • Now you can view the created service reminder in the “service reminder list “


By following these instructions, you can successfully set up service reminders with fixed or custom intervals in MioSalon.


2. How to view the Service Reminder Insights in MioSalon?


To view Service Reminder Insights in MioSalon, follow these steps:


  • Log in to your MioSalon account.

  • Go to Settings, in the Modules Settings section, click on "Service Reminder".

  • In the Service Reminder section, click on "Service Reminder Insight" to access the report. Within the report, you have the option to filter by three categories: rule, service, and custom. 


By following these instructions, you can easily view the Service Reminder Insights report in MioSalon.


3. How to edit or delete the service reminder feature in Miosalon ?

  • Log in to your MioSalon account.

  • Go to Settings, in the Modules Settings section, click on "Service Reminder".

  • In the Service Reminder list, locate the reminder you want to edit or delete.

  • To edit the reminder, click on the “Edit Icon” next to the reminder.

  • Make the necessary changes to the reminder rule, interval, or other settings.

  • To delete the reminder, click on the ”Delete Icon” next to the reminder.
