How to Set Mandatory Fields While Collecting Customer Details

You can decide which customer details are required when adding new clients. Making certain fields mandatory ensures you always capture essential information for communication, billing, and service tracking.


Navigation

  1. Go to Settings from the left-hand main menu.

  2. Navigate to Module Settings → Customer Segmentation.

  3. From the top menu tab, click Customer Form Setting.


⚙️ Set Up Mandatory Fields

  1. In the Customer Form Setting page, locate the list of available customer fields.

  2. From the Mandatory Fields column, select the field labels you want to make compulsory (e.g., Name, Mobile Number, Email, Gender, etc.).

  3. Click Save to apply your changes.

Once saved, these fields will appear as required whenever a new customer is added. Staff cannot proceed without completing the selected mandatory fields.

  • Keep essential fields mandatory (Name, Mobile Number) to maintain clean and usable data.

  • Avoid making too many fields required to speed up customer onboarding.
